Instep Credit Union is always looking for ways to give back to our community, and what better way to do so than by aiding those that have the most important job, educating the next generation.
Teacher Grant Program
Details:
Funds received from this grant may go towards purchasing classroom materials, positive behavior incentives, classroom makeovers or other related items or projects to impact student success. Awards are paid directly to the teachers. Grant recipients will be contacted directly and announced on our website and Facebook.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be current teachers working at one of the following schools: Belle Chasse Academy, Belle Chasse Primary School, Belle Chasse Elementary, Belle Chasse Middle School, Belle Chasse High School, Boothville-Venice Elementary School, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Phoenix High School, South Plaquemines Elementary, and South Plaquemines High School.
Award:
Ten (10) grants, $300 each per month
How to Apply:
Eligible teachers may apply by filling out the online form below. Applications will be due by the 25th of each month (September 25, 2026 is the first due date and May 7, 2027 is last due date) and award winners will be contacted directly and announced on our website and Facebook page the following month. Applications are good for one month and must be resubmitted each month for consideration.
