- U.S. Social Security Number or tax identification number
- Proof of residency, U.S. Citizenship or U.S. permanent resident
- A valid U.S.-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, permanent resident card, state ID, or military ID)
- Your current physical address
- A minimum $6 opening deposit, funded by a debit card
Instep may review public records as part of the account application process. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the application.
